Pipe ID is not exactly 1/2 inch. Pipe has approx. ID of 0.602 inch and approx. OD of 0.840 inch as specified by PVC SCH40 specs.

Works with standard PVC SCH40/SCH80 Fittings & Cement.

Pipe is rigid (not very flexible, but may have a slight amount of flex like all PVC pipe.)
