Similar to mobile phone networks or TV and radio reception, weather stations may not always have reception everywhere. In order to ensure good reception of the weather station, the choice of location is fundamentally important.
For this reason, the weather station is equipped with a test button that can be used to test the quality of the reception in the area to find a suitable location. It is important to turn on all possible sources of interference that are in the room. Then place the weather station in the desired location and align it as desired. Keep the minimum distance of one metre from potential sources of interference.
Please note the information on the screen “GOOD RECEPTION” or “BAD RECEPTION”. Receiving very large amounts of data requires significantly more time than receiving less data via radio. To receive all the data, up to 24 hours from the first commissioning is required.
