With this hobby horse bridle set you get all the important ingredients you need to make your own hobby horse bridle. The special highlight: all fittings in this series are gold-coloured, including the broken water snaffle bit, which we have made especially in hobby horse sizes! Whether simple or Mexican bridle, hackamore or martingale, everything is possible with the included materials.
Another main component of the craft set is a 10 cm wider and approx. 135 cm long faux leather strip in brown. From this rectangular piece of leather, you can cut individual straps e.g. with 1 cm or 1.5 cm width, but also ergonomic neck and brow straps can be cut out great. Thanks to the length of the leather strip, reins are no problem. Especially for reins and martingale, the leather is ideal as it is double-sided and so both sides look “beautiful”. The leather itself feels nice and soft, but still has enough stand for sturdy straps
The included pin buckles have an inner dimension of approx. 12 x 14 mm and are particularly suitable for 1 cm wide straps.
To attach the buckles and straps, you can use glue or alternatively rivets (not included in the set), sewing is also conceivable
Important: instructions for creating bridles and reins are not included in the set. You can find these in our book “Mein Hobby Horse & I”, or you can look for instructions videos on the Internet.
