PROGRESSIVE RATE GAS SPRINGS – Redline Tuning gas springs are not off the shelf parts, they are designed by us and manufactured to our specifications for each vehicle application. Our exclusive end-of-force dampening slows the rate of extension over the final inches of travel eliminating stress to the hood.
INSTALLATION – This Hood QuickLIFT System includes all components needed for the installation. We strive to design bolt-in systems for all vehicles, though packaging gas springs and mounting hardware under hood requires use of special multi-grip rivets (included) to attach ball-stud brackets for this installation. We always mount hardware using the best attachment methods – all systems include full color manuals and are very well engineered for a easy to follow installation.
