This temperate tulsi grows well in our maritime climate indoors or outdoors but is best started indoors and transplanted out in early June. Prepare a moist seedbed of potting soil and sprinkle seeds on top. Keep watered and warm and seeds will sprout quickly! These small but mighty plants provide abundant harvests of tender leaves and delicate purple flowers all year long. Use fresh or dried for calming teas and herbal remedies. Tulsi is a must have herb in this nutso modern world.
