C20% Velvet Cream offers advanced restoration. It contains 20% stabilized Ascorbic Acid, i.e. the most stable form of Vitamin C. Skin needs strong antioxidant protection so as to deal with a considerable number of environmental impacts.
C20% Velvet Cream contains 20% Ascorbic Acid. It is a strong antioxydant product that contributes to cell protection by preventing and treating premature skin aging due to environmental factors.
Apart from its antioxidant properties, Ascorbic Acid (pure Vitamin C) has multiple actions: It improves skin texture and tone, reduces hyperpigmentation, prevents and restricts fine lines and spots.
The product contains GRANACTIVE AA-20, a new form of Vitamin C, that enables Ascorbic Acid to penetrate deep into the skin, in much higher concentrations than those offered by food or food supplements.
Granactive also protects Vitamin C from oxidation. When Vitamin C penetrates stratum corneum, the process of anti-aging is triggered thanks to a constant regeneration of cells and the collagen synthesis.
VISIBLE RESULTS – IN-VIVO STUDIES
The below studies present the results of applying stabilized Vitamin C on the dermal transfer matrix (Granactive AA-20) even in a lower concentration (3-5%).
Elasticity/In-vivo study
At a level of 3% vitamin C, the tested product showed good performance in terms of skin elasticity (Increase after 28 day treatment was 18.01%).
Moisture/In vivo-study
The tested product showed a significant efficacy in increasing skin moisturizing after 4 weeks of treatment (19.45%) and at the end of the 8 weeks treatment (29.66%).
Anti-aging/In-vivo study
The tested product showed a significant decrease in skin roughness after 4 and 8 weeks of treatment with a decrease of average roughness of -9.50% and -15.94% at the end of the treatment.
Tightness /In-vivo study
The tested product showed a significant efficacy in increasing skin firmness after 4 weeks of treatment (16.98%) and at the end of the 8 weeks treatment (67.97%).
