EASY TO INSTALL: Simply slide the post trim over your vinyl post. For extra security, apply a small amount of clear silicone (not included) to firmly secure it in place. Please note that the post base trim should be installed before installing railings.
SIZING & COMPATIBILITY: This 6×6 post base trim fits perfectly on true 6×6 posts commonly used on decks, fences, mailboxes, and more. Max post dimensions are 6.01″ x 6.01″, outside measures 8.07″ x 8.07″, and interior 6 x 6 with rounded corners. If your post is 6 x 6 with pointed corners this will be a tight fit and your post may need adjustments.
